Kevin McBride began painting wildlife at an early
age in his hometown of Emerson, New Jersey. Inspired by his love of art
and nature, Kevin received his degree in Fine Arts from the University of
Rhode Island and a second degree in Art Education from Montclair State
University.
Kevin
relocated to Chincoteague Island, Virginia, where he taught art for 4
years. He then opened The Osprey Nest Art Gallery and devoted his time to
painting wildlife professionally.
Kevin's art work has been displayed at many prestigious art shows
throughout the country and his originals can be found as far away as
Canada, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
He is an active member of many conservation groups including Ducks
Unlimited and donates much of his time and paintings to various
organizations such as the Deborah Heart & Lung Foundation.
Kevin would describe himself as a romantic and a perfectionist, one who
truly cares about the natural world, its wildlife, and the state of the
environment.
